My PC keeps freezing randomly. Even Task manager couldnt help it. Windows store and Mail apps cant open. Maybe because of the newly update or nvidia latest update.

Just when im using programs like Origin, it will freeze and not responding even with task manager. Then all windows not responding and freeze.
Had to force restart everytime it happen. Step 2: Windows 10 Anniversary Update Version :. Step 5: Scan your system.

Thank you ver much ;. The strange part is out now, sorry that cost you. Normally the chances of Hardware failure is quite less than software failure. That's why we don't think of it at first. No, startup just normal. On boot and logon screen all normal. Windows store and mail also cannot be open. In reply to Sir SmokeA-lot's post on November 8, If you have a latest version, go to step 3. I have a new laptop and Windows constantly freezes or stops responding even on the simplest tasks like opening desktop or attaching images to a email or creating a new folder. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your quick response. I have run the system maintenance which comes back as complete with no changes necessary. I would suggest you to try the following steps and check if the issue persists. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode for Windows that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. This helps us in identifying whether the issue is due to some third party programs conflict.
The word Safe mode appear in the concern of your monitor to identify which windows mode you are using. Follow the steps given below and check if that helps.
Unplug external devices connected to the computer expect keyboard and mouse. From login screen, press Shift key and click on the Power button and click restart to enter Advanced Boot Options. In this page select troubleshoot option. And click on Advance option. Select Startup setting from advance option. Here you will find Restart button, just click on it. In new windows press F5 to login with safe mode with networking.
If the issue does not exist, try to clean boot the system. Placing your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. Check this issue in clean boot state. How to perform a clean boot in Windows. Note: After troubleshooting, refer to this section " How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting ". If you had a 3rd party antivirus on the OS you upgraded OR if you have one now uninstall it and then run its maker's removal tool. Despite all the hype out there Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall are true superstars. Then restart the computer. Be sure you are running the latest available BIOS and drivers. Check with System Maker Motherboard Maker for custom systems for updates to the BIOS , low level chipset drivers , and the major on-board and separate device drivers.
DriverView - Free - utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description, version, product name, company that created the driver, and more. Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - write down the make and complete model of your video adapter - double click - Driver's tab - write down the version info.
Always check in Device Manager - Drivers tab to be sure the version you are installing actually shows up. This is because some drivers rollback before the latest is installed sound drivers particularly do this so install a driver - reboot - check to be sure it is installed and repeat as needed.
